Registration
Registration is now open for APAN62. Early bird rates end on 30 June 2026.
- Complete your registration on the official APAN62 registration portal.
- Request a letter of invitation during registration if you need one for your visa application (passport details required).
- Cancellations notified by 1 July 2026 receive a full refund less an NZ$200 administration charge. Contact margaret@conference.nz to reassign or cancel.
Visa & Visit
To visit Aotearoa New Zealand you will generally need:
- A valid passport.
- A New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) or a visitor visa, depending on your nationality.
- A completed New Zealand Traveller Declaration (free; can be done online up to 24 hours before travel).
Most travellers on an NZeTA or visitor visa must also pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of NZ$100.
- NZeTA: typically processed within ~72 hours; NZ$17. Required for visa-waiver countries, Australian permanent residents, and certain other travellers.
- Visitor visa: allow 2–8 weeks processing — apply as early as possible.
- Invitation letter: request during registration, or contact mandy@conference.nz before registering.
August is mid-winter in Auckland (5–15 °C). NZD is the local currency; tap water is safe to drink; emergency number is 111.
